Amanda Bills, MFA, adopted art as a form of communication. She believes illustration reaches within us to tap into a shared humanity. Vivid flashbacks, states of being, and pools of emotion—all can be triggered by what’s contained within a canvas. Connecting with viewers, both in life and through the medium, is why she paints.  She currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona and is mother to four cats.
